▪️iDzia installation: sound & light
During the annual Fête de la Roquette, now an unmissable gathering, the evening took on a special dimension thanks to the explosive collaboration between @cultish.studio and the collective @airafrique_ for the opening of the ROOTS exhibition. It all happened in the raw and resonant garage of @le_collateral, transformed by iDzia’s sound and lighting setup into an electrified space where an ever-growing crowd gathered to share a singular sensory experience. The highlight of the day was the DJ set by @yungandy4k, a true catalyst of collective energy, who turned the exhibition venue into a sonic playground, a shared frequency pulsing with bass and Afro-electronic echoes. As part of their carte blanche offered to @airafrique_, @cultish.studio presented much more than a playlist: a deep, intentional sound curation envisioned as a narrative extension of the ROOTS exhibition, which explores cultural anchoring, invisible legacies, and diasporic voices. This wasn’t just a party—it was a way to honor the roots while projecting them forward, a vibrant act of transmission where every track played became a piece of shared memory. @cultish.studio approaches curation as a living, evolving practice—an ongoing opportunity to explore new formats and spotlight talents aligned with their vision: a world where cultural practices intersect, elevate, and amplify one another. Through their artistic connection with @airafrique_ and the creative energy brought by all those involved, this moment left a lasting mark as a heartfelt celebration of cultures in motion. Gratitude to everyone who helped shape this powerful moment: to @yungandy4k for setting the tone, to @le_collateral for hosting, to @airafrique_ for this inspired carte blanche, and to @cultish.studio for a bold sonic proposal that still resonates. iDzia is proud to have supported the event with a sound and light installation worthy of the intensity lived. It wasn’t just an event—it was a statement.
