A celebration of Camargue identity

For more than twenty years, the Feria du Cheval has made Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer the capital of equestrian art. For the 2026 edition, iDzia provided sound and lighting management, putting its technical expertise at the service of one of the most anticipated events of the Provençal summer.

Three events for 2026

For this edition, the Feria du Cheval took place from Saturday 11 to Tuesday 14 July, with three main moments:

• Saturday, July 11: show Songe d'une nuit en Camargue (Dreaming of a night in the Camargue)

• Monday, July 13: great equestrian show at the city’s arenas

• Tuesday, July 14: closing of the fair with a fireworks display on the Amphores Square as well as the blaze of the town hall with the orchestra Chris Remy

  
  

In between these highlights, the fair also showcased bull abrivados, equestrian activities, flamenco and Sevillian dances on the Gitans Square. The program also included the tienta, the bullfights of the Rejón d'Or as well as the competition of models and horse gaits organized at the Méjanes Domain.

The iDzia expertise, a loyal partner for show management

iDzia has deployed the entire technical sound and light system necessary for the show management as well as for the smooth running of the festivities: sound system for the events on Gitans Square, highlighting equestrian shows in the arenas and technical support for the show Songe d'une nuit en Camargue. This one, organized in the heart of the Camargue marshes and bringing together more than 200 horses, represents a real technical challenge, where precision, reliability and control of the installations are essential.
