- Glanum Festival 2025 in immersive Soundscape
📍Glanum Archaeological Site, Saint Rémy de Provence ▪️d&b Soundscape : Immersive sound by iDzia A sublime 10th edition for the Festival de Glanum, under the artistic direction of Mathieu Herzog. Once again, iDzia has been selected to provide the installation and immersive sound system for this outdoor classical music festival. An auditory feat achieved thanks to the use of the Soundscape technology system by d&b audiotechnik. The 2025 edition was marked by the exclusive preview of the latest extension of the Soundscape system via its Create.Control interface. This new tool allows users to create and manipulate sound objects, while offering a simple visual interface, extensive possibilities, and real-time control and resizing. This real technological breakthrough has enhanced the festival's excellent program in its open-air concert configuration: Day 1: VIOLIN, DANCE, AND PASSION An opening night featuring the Orchestre Nation Avignon Provence, conducted by Débora Waldman. The talented Maxim Vengerov accompanied them, transporting the audience with music that reached the heights of emotion and virtuosity. The Ballet de l'Ouest Parisien was invited on stage to dance to the Serenade in C, in a new choreography by Alice Psaroudaki and performed by Lidya Kovalenko and Serge Mouawad. Day 2: FROM BROADWAY TO HOLLYWOOD Néïma Naouri and Bastien Jacquemart, with the Ensemble Appassionato and a hell of a jazz trio, revisit the most beautiful pages of American musical theater. A repertoire full of fantasy, lyricism, and poetry. Songs to sing and dance to, spanning the ages with their emotional power intact. Standards born on the stages of Broadway and, through the magic of Hollywood, become part of the world's cultural heritage. Day 3: MOZART ENCHANTÉ Mozart always maintained an intimate dialogue between voice and wind instruments. The clarinet, which he adored, occupies a special place in this musical alchemy, coloring his melodies with an expressiveness that is by turns tender, melancholic, or mischievous. Accompanied by the Orchestre Avignon-Provence, under the inspired baton of Débora Waldman, the sumptuous timbre of Karine Deshayes and the virtuosity of Pierre Génisson intertwine in an enchanted duet where voice and clarinet unite to celebrate Mozart's genius. - L'Archevêché by Fisheye
📍Courtyard of the Archbishop's Palace, Arles ▪️ iDzia Installation: sound, light, structure An electrifying opening week at the heart of Arles saw the courtyard of the Palais de l’Archevêché transformed into a vibrant hub of exhibitions, talks, professional meetings, festive evenings and restful corners, brought to life by the immersive experience curated by Fisheye and elevated by the technical expertise of iDzia, who provided the full setup of sound, lighting, video and structure in this exceptional historic setting. Staying true to the high standards of the Rencontres, the “Archevêché by Fisheye” featured the exhibition “Une imagination qui ne pardonne pas” (“An Imagination That Doesn’t Forgive”), created by five contemporary women artists blending photography, collage and archives in a surrealist, feminine perspective, offering visitors from July 7 to 13 an open-air journey through dreamlike and real dimensions. Alongside this, a series of thematic talks brought energy to the space, addressing unorthodox photography, analog practices, artistic commitment, and visual literacy, with speakers from networks such as Lux, the MYOP agency, Le BAL and Gens d’Images. The venue also hosted a photo studio, portfolio reviews, professional speed dating sessions, DJ sets, concerts and community dinners in a welcoming and stimulating environment organized by Fisheye in partnership with La Kabine. To enhance every element of this program, iDzia delivered a custom technical setup: a d&b audiotechnik sound system precisely calibrated to ensure clarity and depth for all presentations and performances, creating a uniform and immersive listening experience from every corner of the courtyard; a scenographic lighting design that highlighted the architecture, artworks and speakers while allowing flexibility to shift between conference atmosphere and festive mood; and a video and structural installation that defined the space while giving all visual content the projection power it deserved. This technical design elevated every moment: the talks were held in optimal acoustic conditions, the video projections harmonized perfectly with the stone backdrop, and the DJ sets and concerts delivered energy without compromising the intimacy of the location. Thanks to seamless collaboration between Fisheye, and iDzia’s technical crew, every moment offered the audience a truly sensory experience, both contemporary and human, in tune with the spirit of the Rencontres d’Arles. iDzia is proud to have played a part in this rich and innovative edition, where sound, light, video and structural design brought the Archbishop’s Palace to life through image creation, professional exchange and celebration—and looks forward to contributing again to this essential event in the visual culture calendar.
- Carrières de Lumières: When Light Becomes Substance
📍Les Carrières des Lumières, Les Baux-de-Provence ▪️ Installation iDzia : La lumière, le son Carrières de Lumières: When Light Becomes Substance At the Carrières de Lumières when light becomes substance, every event becomes an experience in itself. Nestled in the heart of Les Baux-de-Provence , this monumental site fascinates visitors with the sheer scale of its volumes and the raw beauty of its stone. Once a quarry, today it stands as one of the world’s most celebrated cultural spaces — a stage for immersive exhibitions, artistic performances, and, on rare occasions, exceptional private events and weddings . It is within this extraordinary setting that iDzia once again showcased its expertise, designing a tailor-made lighting concept to enhance and reveal the magic of the space. Our goal: to bring out the textures, shape the shadows, and create a poetic atmosphere worthy of this legendary site. The Art of Light: Precision, Subtlety, and Emotion Light is far more than a technical element — it is the invisible thread connecting space and emotion. Within the vast stone galleries of the Carrières, every beam must be crafted with care and precision. The monumental scale demands a delicate and balanced approach , where brilliance never overshadows serenity. Through detailed pre-production work and the use of battery-powered projectors — discreet, powerful, and perfectly suited to the venue’s architecture — iDzia manages to sculpt light in harmony with the stone. The mineral surfaces take on soft, warm reflections, while the preserved shadows add depth and intimacy. A Refined Scenography for an Exceptional Wedding A recent late-August wedding beautifully illustrates this expertise. The scenography, designed to be minimalist and elegant , relied on light as the central decorative element. Soft tones and gentle contrasts transformed the quarry’s raw textures into a cocoon of sophistication, where every surface seemed to breathe under a luminous veil. This subtle balance is the result of years of experimentation and collaboration within this iconic site. Over time, iDzia has refined its creative and technical approach, blending precision, aesthetics, and emotion to deliver an experience that feels both natural and extraordinary. Enhancing Without Overpowering In a space as powerful as the Carrières de Lumières, light does not seek to dominate — it accompanies, highlights, and reveals . That philosophy lies at the heart of iDzia’s work: transforming natural architecture into a sensory and emotional experience , where light becomes matter, and every moment turns into a lasting memory.
- Sous les Étoiles _ Festival in Mucem
📍Fort Saint-Jean, Le Mucem - Marseille ▪️ Installation iDzia : Le son, la lumière, la vidéo This summer, the Mucem offered its visitors a magical interlude, at the crossroads of art, music, and astronomy. Entitled “Sous les étoiles” (Under the Stars), this immersive Festival unfolded across the esplanades of Fort Saint-Jean and the J4, inviting the public to a poetic, nocturnal exploration of the infinite sky. On the program: a cine-concert, three evenings of concerts, a night-time exhibition, a cosmic nap… and a Full Moon Party lasting until dawn. The festival opened with the cine-concert “16 Levers de soleil” (16 Sunrises), performed by Guillaume Perret. Inspired by astronaut Thomas Pesquet’s mission, this levitating film blends stellar images with cosmic jazz. A celestial invitation — starting at 9:30 p.m. — to awaken the senses within the millennial setting of Fort Saint-Jean. The rest of the festival unfolded across three concert evenings: Bonnie Banane and DJ Mystique offered a deliciously experimental pop, where R&B, soul, electronic, and hip-hop intersect — all wrapped in an atmosphere both ethereal and visceral. Yuksek and Souleance extended the experience with a vibrant, high-energy live performance, celebrating the 15th anniversary of the Borderline collective. The Full Moon Party: Walter Astral led a psychedelic odyssey towards Étienne de Crécy, a key figure of the French Touch movement, for a memorable electro night — mixing visual curiosities, lunar cocktails, and stellar performances. But the night didn’t stop there: from 1 a.m., a Silent Party orchestrated by Marsatac made the sky pulse until the early morning. Equipped with wireless headphones, the audience was invited to dance in weightlessness, carried by emerging DJs such as Minuit Machine, Mars O10C, Oyster Catcher, and Blanche de nuit — each adding their own color to the sonic cosmos. Behind the scenes, iDzia played a fundamental role in this artistic orbit. The team handled sound design and lighting for the concerts, ensuring a fully immersive experience and a perfect balance between visuals and sound, worthy of both the venue and the festival’s ambitions. We were also fortunate to be entrusted with the video broadcast of the opening cine-concert. Since its inauguration in 2013, the Mucem has established itself more than ever as a vibrant space, where architectural heritage, contemporary creation, and Mediterranean dialogues converge. With “Sous les étoiles”, it transcends its museum role to become a place of sensory experience — a living cultural observatory where, every night, imagination takes flight.
- Les Escales du Cargo - 21 years of Festival in Arles
📍Le Théâtre Antique, Arles ▪️ Installation iDzia : sound, light, structure & rigg, power supply On the occasion of its 21st edition, the Escales du Cargo festival once again stands out as one of the most essential musical events in the south of France. Every summer, the festival takes place in Arles, in the majestic setting of the Roman Theatre , a historic venue that offers both unique acoustics and atmosphere. Organized by the passionate team of the Cargo de Nuit , Arles’ iconic concert hall, the event has, for over two decades, attracted a diverse audience of music lovers, eager to discover both international headliners and rising talents. As a true showcase of contemporary music, Les Escales du Cargo skillfully blends prestigious names with new voices, thus contributing to the cultural influence of the region. This year, the opening night was entrusted to Air , the pioneering French electro-pop duo. Formed by Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel, Air French Band made their mark in the late 1990s as ambassadors of the French Touch movement, with cult albums such as Moon Safari and the soundtrack for The Virgin Suicides , directed by Sofia Coppola. Their long-awaited return to the stage, enhanced by stunning visuals and light design, transported the audience into an immersive experience, balancing nostalgia with modernity. The following evening, it was British singer Jorja Smith who took over the stage. First brought to international attention with her debut album Lost & Found , she has been praised for her warm yet powerful voice and now embodies a new generation of soul and R&B. With deeply personal and socially conscious lyrics, combined with a magnetic stage presence, she captivated the Roman Theatre audience. Her concert was filled with both emotion and groove, cementing her reputation as one of the brightest stars of today’s music scene. Finally, the third night welcomed a living legend: Nick Cave , in partnership with PIAS. A dark poet, an intense performer, and an essential figure of rock since the 1980s, the Australian artist has left his mark on several generations with his band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds . His universe—where rock, blues, and literature intertwine—resonates powerfully within the ancient theatre of Arles. Each of Nick Cave’s performances is an intense, almost mystical experience, where music becomes an inner journey. As it celebrates its 30th anniversary, the Cargo de Nuit reaffirms its central role in Arles’ cultural life. Born in the 1990s, this intimate venue has always combined closeness with artistic excellence. The Escales du Cargo festival is the natural extension of this vision—a highlight where history, music, and emotion meet.
- MUCEM: Closing night of the OH les beaux jours! festival
📍MUCEM, Marseille ▪️ iDzia installation: video, light, sound MUCEM: Closing night of the OH les beaux jours! festival A magical closing for the Oh les beaux jours! festival on the terrace of Fort Saint-Jean at the Mucem. For this final evening, the audience gathered facing the sea, in an exceptional setting where heritage, poetry, and contemporary creation naturally echo one another. As the sun slowly disappeared on the horizon, the golden evening light gave way to a soft atmosphere, inviting reverie. The first part of the evening was carried by Clara Ysé, accompanied on piano by Camille El Bacha. Together, they brought to life the poetry collection Vivante , published by Seghers, in which Clara's world resonates with the voices of René Char, Ingeborg Bachmann, and Fernando Pessoa. Her reading, delivered with a presence both gentle and powerful, immediately captured the audience’s attention. The subtle notes of the piano accompanied the words with precision, creating a bubble of poetry suspended in time. The second part of the evening took the form of a hybrid and immersive performance titled Les royaumes invisibles . Musician Voyou took the stage with his luminous compositions from the album Les Royaumes minuscules , while comic book artist Cyril Pedrosa drew live on stage. His illustrations, projected in large format, evolved in sync with the music, creating a seamless visual and sonic dialogue. The connection between image and sound was built gradually, drawing after drawing, note after note, shaping a dreamlike, almost cinematic narrative. This sensitive duo was joined by a surprise appearance from Albin de la Simone, adding yet another emotional layer to an already generous performance. This delicate and luminous finale perfectly captured the spirit of the Oh les beaux jours! festival: a meeting of disciplines, a dialogue between artists and audience, where literature is constantly enriched by other forms of art. This closing night, imagined as a suspended moment in time, offered everyone a space to feel, imagine, and share. A heartfelt thank you to the entire festival team for this beautiful adventure, to the Mucem for their warm welcome, and to all the artists for these rare and precious moments. Night fell over the terrace of Fort Saint-Jean, but the words, sounds, and images from this evening continue to resonate long after the applause has faded. #thesound #thelight

Their music, emotional and unapologetically bold, took on a new resonance against the ancient stone backdrop. The contrast between their contemporary sound and the timeless architecture of the theatre created an unforgettable experience. For this special evening, iDzia was proud to once again support the Cargo de Nuit in this exceptional venue. Our team handled the full technical installation: stage structure, sound system, and lighting design. Every element was carefully planned to respect the unique constraints of the site while enhancing the band’s creative direction. The Ancient Theatre of Arles, with its demanding acoustics and monumental scale, offers both a challenge and an inspiration. - Rencontres d'Arles : videoprojection in Théâtre Antique Arles
📍Arles, Théâtre Antique ▪️ iDzia Installation: Sound, Light, Video A spectacular opening week marked the 2025 Rencontres d’Arles at the Théâtre Antique, where photography, videoprojection, live storytelling, monumental projections, and aerial performances blended into a powerful celebration of image and voice. This unique experience was made possible by the remarkable presence of the Compagnie Gratte Ciel and the technical expertise of iDzia, which provided the full setup of sound, lighting, and video within this heritage-listed venue. Since its founding in 2013, Gratte Ciel has been turning the sky into a stage, driven by a poetic and choreographic vision of aerial space, and for this edition of the Rencontres, they brought bodies into flight above the ancient stone arena of Arles, in perfect harmony with the projected visuals and embodied narratives. Each evening allowed audiences to discover or rediscover leading artists such as Nan Goldin, whose intimate and powerful imagery was projected on a monumental scale, the photographers of the MYOP agency celebrating 20 years of documentary engagement through the exhibition “Mes yeux, objets patients,” and the emotional energy of Live Magazine, where journalism and performance come together in a unique live format. To support this rich and sensitive program, iDzia deployed a precisely calibrated d&b audiotechnik sound system tailored to the venue’s natural acoustics, ensuring exceptional clarity for voices, soundtracks, and live performances, with an enveloping diffusion reaching every seat in the amphitheater. Lighting was designed to respect and enhance the historic stonework, highlighting both performers and the monument itself, creating an immersive and evolving atmosphere throughout the evenings. Video projection, executed with millimetric precision, magnified the visual works and seamlessly integrated them into the dramatic architectural space. Thanks to smooth collaboration between the Rencontres d’Arles teams, the Gratte Ciel company, and iDzia’s technicians—Nico, Pablo, Emilie, and Elliott—each performance unfolded under optimal technical conditions, merging heritage, contemporary creation, and advanced technology. This complete audiovisual system allowed the Rencontres to reinvent the Théâtre Antique as a living, breathing space of contemporary energy, shaped by moving images, powerful voices, and soaring bodies, while reflecting the festival’s deeply humanist spirit. iDzia is proud to have contributed to this unforgettable edition, where sound, light, and video brought history to life in rhythm with today’s perspectives. #leson #lalumiere #lavideo

- Luma Foundation in Arles - Exhibitions summer 2025
📍 Luma Foundation, Arles ▪️ iDzia Installation: sound, video, and audiovisual A summer of contemporary art has begun at Luma Foundation in Arles, a major destination for artistic creation and contemporary reflection, located at the heart of the Parc des Ateliers. This unique site continues to establish itself as an interdisciplinary platform where art, science, ecology, and architecture converge. For summer 2025, Luma presents a thought-provoking program that immerses visitors in powerful works by internationally renowned artists, each questioning our world through visual, sonic, and environmental narratives. In the Grande Halle, Egyptian artist Wael Shawky unveils Je suis les hymnes , a monumental installation combining performance, chant, video, and historical storytelling. The piece explores the connections between identity, collective memory, and political mythology through a striking mise-en-scène filled with choirs, costumed figures, and symbolic imagery inspired by Middle Eastern history. The work, both theatrical and introspective, invites audiences to challenge dominant narratives and rethink cultural legacies. At the Magasin Électrique, Belgian landscape designer Bas Smets presents Climates of Landscape , an exhibition that questions our relationship with climate, water, light, and the transformation of natural spaces. Through models, videos, maps, and interactive displays, Smets reveals the natural forces that shape our environment and proposes a new, sensitive reading of the landscape, echoing the very park he designed at Luma. In La Mécanique Générale, Singaporean artist Ho Tzu Nyen presents Strange Tales , a sensory journey through hybrid narratives that blend Asian legends, speculative fiction, and spectral memory. Using immersive video, 3D animation, and fragmented storytelling, he examines how myths and stories influence our understanding of reality and imagination. Other major artists also enrich this dynamic summer program. Inside the iconic Luma Tower, Swiss artist Peter Fischli exhibits People, Planet, Profit , a sharp and ironic critique of global capitalist logic and its planetary impact. Meanwhile, a moving retrospective is dedicated to American photographer David Armstrong, a key figure of the 1980s queer scene in New York, whose intimate portraits and quiet urban scenes capture a sense of beauty and melancholy on society’s margins. The entire Luma site – from its refurbished industrial buildings to the Tower’s galleries and landscaped gardens – becomes a space of artistic exploration, where each corner offers a new idea, a sound, a story, or an emotion. This ambitious yet accessible summer program reaffirms Luma as a vibrant space, constantly in dialogue with its time and surroundings. Free entry with reservation. Open every day this summer. #sound #light #audiovisual
