A cultural season opening driven by the emerging scene

On Saturday, April 18, Croisière’s new cultural season was officially launched in the heart of Arles. Both festive and unifying, the event brought together music lovers, culture enthusiasts, and curious visitors eager to discover this welcoming space, now a key part of the local artistic scene.

For this opening evening, the program spotlighted a DJ set by La Louuve. Emerging from Algerian counterculture, with influences blending raï, Maghrebi electronic music, and Afro-Oriental sounds, she is establishing herself as a rising figure on the electronic music scene.

A rich and multidisciplinary cultural season at Croisière

Croisière, a hybrid venue in the heart of Arles, has become an essential cultural space, positioning itself as both a cultural and social hub:

“Croisière presents itself as a place dedicated to culture, but also as a meeting point for the people of Arles and visitors to the city.”

Far more than just a venue for electronic music, it offers a vibrant and eclectic program throughout the season:

  • Live concerts

  • Talks and conferences

  • Film screenings

  • Exhibitions

  • Culinary experiences

An artistic collaboration between Croisière and Les Suds à Arles

The event was created in collaboration with Les Suds à Arles, a key cultural organization in the region, renowned for the richness and high standards of its programming dedicated to world music and contemporary creation. A true bridge between cultures and artistic encounters, Les Suds à Arles have been helping to promote the music scene far beyond its borders for many years.

Through this partnership, Les Suds à Arles bring their artistic vision and expertise, strengthening the open, curious, and demanding spirit of this opening evening. A natural meeting point between two worlds that share the same values of diversity, creativity, and cultural transmission.

A sound and lighting design serving the music

At iDzia, we are proud to have contributed to this season opening by deploying our expertise in sound and lighting. Every technical element was designed as part of a true stage setting to enhance the artist’s performance and offer the audience an immersive and dynamic experience.

Our goal is simple yet demanding: to transform each event into a unique moment, driven by tailor-made audiovisual solutions. This opening evening perfectly reflects that vision, where technological innovation meets artistic creation to generate powerful and shared emotions.

We would like to extend our thanks to Croisière for their warm welcome, to Les Suds à Arles for the quality of their programming, to La Louuve for her outstanding performance, and to all the teams involved.
