▪️ Installation iDzia : the sound, the light, the video

This summer, while many events were canceled, postponed, or delayed, Plan Bis offered a refreshing exception. In collaboration with festivals such as Oh les beaux jours!, Marseille Jazz des Cinq Continents, Ciné plein air Marseille, Aflam, and FIDMarseille, Plan Bis brought a surprise cultural program to the MuCEM. Hosted at the Fort Saint-Jean in Marseille, the event took place outdoors on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, offering a variety of performances that included musical readings, concerts, and film screenings.

iDzia was proud to be part of this event, providing the sound, lighting, and video installations that helped create an unforgettable atmosphere. Our team worked tirelessly to ensure that each concert, reading, and film screening was delivered with the highest quality of audiovisual experience. The goal was to transport the audience into a world of culture and art, all under the summer sky at the magnificent Fort Saint-Jean.

The program was diverse, with a mix of jazz concerts, comic book-themed performances, musical readings, and musical films. Each event was carefully designed to create an immersive experience for the audience, making it a perfect escape from the routine of everyday life. Whether you were enjoying the smooth jazz tunes, listening to a captivating story through a musical reading, or watching a film with an unforgettable soundtrack, there was something for everyone to enjoy under the stars.

The outdoor venue at Fort Saint-Jean added a unique charm to the events, combining stunning views of the Mediterranean with an intimate cultural experience. iDzia’s sound systems, including DB Audiotechnik speakers and Yamaha audio equipment, ensured that the sound reached every corner of the venue with clarity and precision. Our lighting design further enhanced the atmosphere, setting the right mood for each performance, from the dramatic lighting for film screenings to the vibrant lights that complemented the energy of the live concerts.

Video projections played an important role in creating immersive environments, adding another layer of creativity to the events. Whether it was for a cinematic experience or as a visual enhancement to a musical performance, the video elements brought the whole program to life, engaging the audience in new and exciting ways.

From August 12 to 30, 2020, Plan Bis provided a much-needed cultural escape, allowing the people of Marseille to reconnect with the joy of live performances, music, and cinema. It was an opportunity to dream, to be entertained, and to experience the power of art in an extraordinary setting. Thanks to iDzia’s audiovisual expertise, every aspect of the event came together to create a memorable experience that was truly unique.
