📍Papeterie Etienne, Arles ▪️iDzia setup : Sound, Light and video Nuit De L'Année - Rencontre D'Arles One of the most anticipated moments of the opening week of the Rencontres d'Arles is undoubtedly the Night of the Year , a key event held every year at the Papeteries Étienne. This unique evening offers an immersive photographic experience, inviting participants to dive into the world of contemporary photography through the projection of over forty photographic projects. These works are projected all night on four giant screens set up in different areas of the Papeteries, providing a complete immersion into the visual world of the artists. The Night of the Year  is an opportunity for the public to discover a selection of photographic projects from around the world, exploring a wide range of themes and styles. Each project tells a story, explores a particular theme, or offers a unique vision of the world. The diversity of the works allows every viewer to experience something new, with each image transforming into an invitation for reflection and escape. This is not just a simple screening event; it is a true sensory journey into the heart of the image and photographic art. For this edition, our iDzia team was once again called upon to support this exceptional event by handling the technical installation of sound, lighting, and video. The scale of this event required careful planning and thoughtful implementation to ensure a smooth and immersive experience for the spectators. The sound system was fine-tuned to ensure that each projection was accompanied by perfectly balanced audio, creating an enveloping atmosphere in line with the immersive experience expected from such an event. Lighting also played a crucial role, with subtly orchestrated light effects designed to enhance the projections while respecting the industrial and raw ambiance of the Papeteries Étienne. Soirée Canon - Mas de Valériole 📍Mas de Valériole, Arles ▪️setup iDzia : sound, light, structure Soirée Canon - Mas de Valériole It was with great pleasure that we had the opportunity to support the 6th edition of the Soirée Canon , an unmissable event of the Arles summer. Held at the Mas de Valériole, an enchanting venue nestled in the heart of the Camargue vineyards, the evening blended warmth and festivity, creating a unique and friendly atmosphere. The Soirée Canon  has become a key gathering for both locals and visitors from across the region. The event offered a light and cheerful guinguette ambiance, with large communal tables where guests could gather and share meals in a relaxed and convivial setting. An ephemeral village was set up for the occasion, offering an immersive and festive experience, complete with food trucks serving a variety of delicious dishes. These food trucks not only delighted the taste buds but also added to the charm of the evening, allowing guests to enjoy flavorful meals while immersed in a lively atmosphere. The concerts were one of the highlights of this memorable evening. Live performances energized the event, with music that encouraged guests to dance and sing late into the night. The outdoor music performances, set against the stunning backdrop of Mas de Valériole, provided a true sensory experience, combining the beauty of the Camargue landscape with the energy of the artists. To ensure the event’s success, our iDzia team handled the technical setup, with a particular focus on sound, lighting, and structure. 📍 Le Méjan, Arles ▪️ iDzia setup : Sound, light Literary Meetings Rue Cambon - La Chapelle du Méjan IDzia a eu le privilège de participer à un événement prestigieux en assurant la technique lors des Rendez-vous Littéraires Rue Cambon, qui se sont déroulés à La Chapelle du Méjan à Arles. Ce projet a été impulsé par Virginie Viard, créatrice de la Maison Chanel, et a rassemblé plusieurs figures emblématiques du monde littéraire, parmi lesquelles Charlotte Casiraghi, ambassadrice de la Maison Chanel. L’événement s’est déroulé dans un cadre à la fois intime et raffiné, parfaitement adapté à l’échange d’idées autour de thèmes littéraires profonds. Les Rendez-vous Littéraires Rue Cambon ont attiré un public passionné, réuni autour du thème de l’émancipation des femmes, un sujet cher aux organisateurs. Le thème a été exploré à travers les œuvres des autrices invitées, mais aussi en évoquant les figures littéraires et culturelles qui ont marqué l’histoire de la lutte pour les droits des femmes. L’événement a permis aux participants de découvrir des réflexions sur la condition féminine, en s’appuyant sur des créations artistiques puissantes et inspirantes. La Chapelle du Méjan, avec son architecture historique et son atmosphère unique, s’est imposée comme un lieu parfait pour cet événement. Notre équipe chez iDzia a joué un rôle clé en garantissant une expérience immersive pour le public, en prenant en charge le son, la lumière et l'installation technique du lieu. Screening evening for the FID , 34th edition of the FID Marseille, Marseille International Film Festival 📍 Silvain Theater, Marseille ▪️iDzia setup : sound, light and video The 34th edition of the International Documentary Film Festival (FID) in Marseille took place this year, continuing its tradition as a key event for cinema enthusiasts. This festival stands out for its innovative programming, showcasing films in their most creative and daring forms. From July 21 to 26, 2023, the Théâtre Silvain in Marseille hosted a special evening of screenings featuring exceptional films that were part of the intense competition, highlighting high-quality productions. Like all the FID screenings, this evening provided a unique space for emerging filmmakers, offering an important platform for new talent in international cinema. FID is known for its diversity and openness to all forms of cinematic creation. From documentaries to fiction, and including artist films, the festival celebrates a wide range of genres and styles, always with a critical and demanding eye. Each year, the festival attracts a passionate audience, eager to discover new works and engage in enriching discussions surrounding the films shown. As noted by the organizers in their press release, once again this year, the First Film competition occupies a central place in the program, offering young filmmakers the opportunity to present their debut works to the public and capture the attention of industry professionals. For this screening evening at Théâtre Silvain, our iDzia team was responsible for the technical setup, specifically in terms of sound, lighting, and video. On February 22, the ACCM community of municipalities organized this significant event at the Palais des Congrès in Arles, in partnership with Pôle Emploi, Initiative Pays d'Arles, and the CCI du Pays d'Arles. Each year, this event attracts more and more participants, providing an essential platform for connecting job seekers with local businesses looking for new talent. It is always a pleasure for our iDzia team to be part of this event, offering our expertise to ensure its success. The Rencontres de l'Emploi  has become a key event in the region’s professional calendar. It allows many companies to meet potential candidates, discuss job offers, and discover profiles that meet their needs. From July 13 to 16, the town becomes the focal point for thousands of passionate enthusiasts who gather to celebrate the perfect union between man and horse in a festive and vibrant setting. This festival, which has been held for over 20 years, offers the opportunity for locals and visitors to fully experience Camargue culture, infused with the soul of the region. The Feria du Cheval is built upon three inseparable pillars: the horse, the bull, and the flamenco music, which define its identity and the unique atmosphere of the event. Each year, this festival offers an unforgettable show where equestrian arts take center stage in all their splendor. The arenas of Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer host renowned artists and riders who perform breathtaking acts of dressage, vaulting, and acrobatics. This first collaboration between the agency's creatives, photographers, visual artists, and musicians brought together six multidisciplinary works, each exploring a different aspect of time. The exhibition represents an innovative artistic approach, where each piece prompts deep reflection on how we perceive and experience time in our everyday lives. Time is on your side  invites the audience to reconsider their relationship with time through various perspectives. The concept of time as memory, which erases and consecrates, is highlighted through works that capture and elevate the transience of our existence. The notion of time as an echo, where each action responds to the one that preceded it, challenges us to think about cycles and the consequences of our actions. Lastly, the idea of time as matter, flexible and malleable, presents a more personal vision: the time we endure or choose to reclaim. These powerful and universal themes are explored by artists from diverse backgrounds, offering a visual, auditory, and emotional experience that is both immersive and thought-provoking. The iDzia technical team played a key role in bringing this exhibition to life. This unique festival took place on the Esplanade du Château, an extraordinary venue offering breathtaking views of the Provençal landscapes. With this new festival, André Manoukian aimed to provide the audience with an unprecedented musical experience, gathering artists dear to him for a sonic journey through space and time. After founding the Cosmojazz festival in Chamonix, Manoukian brought his pianos to this historic site, where music met the exceptional. The Esplanade du Château, with its stunning panoramic view, transformed into an open-air theater, where the magic of the venue blended seamlessly with the magic of music. The invited artists, coming from all over, shared intense musical moments, from duos and trios to the mesmerizing performances of musicians from Greece and Bulgaria, bringing with them unique sounds and influences from across Europe. To enhance these musical moments, the technical team at iDzia handled the installation of sound and lighting. This collaboration led to the installation of an entirely new sound system, redefining the way audiences experience music in this historic setting. The ancient site of Glanum, a UNESCO World Heritage site, provides an exceptional backdrop for this festival. With its Roman ruins and historical ambiance, it offers a captivating setting for an extraordinary musical experience. However, to ensure the music resonates optimally in this grand space, it's crucial to adopt technical solutions tailored to the venue, particularly for sound. This year, the Festival de Glanum chose to incorporate an innovative system: the Soundscape from d&b audiotechnik. The Soundscape system by d&b audiotechnik is a cutting-edge spatialized sound technology that revolutionizes the acoustic experience for spectators. Unlike traditional sound systems, Soundscape allows for a fully immersive sound experience by distributing the audio precisely and individually according to the listener’s position. This ensures that each audience member, whether near the stage or farther away, can enjoy clear, balanced sound. The system also enables sound to be manipulated based on the space and environment, creating a more intimate and immersive musical experience. The installation of this system was carried out by iDzia, who also managed the structure and technical aspects of the festival.
