Creating the technical experience for the ID-ILE festival

Among the most notable cultural events in the South of France, the ID-ILE festival in Avignon holds a special place. We were delighted to participate by designing and installing a comprehensive technical setup, in accordance with our expertise and our mission.

ID-ILE, a unique event on the French music scene

The ID-ILE festival describes itself as an experience blending music, food, and hedonism, with the tagline: “An idyll is born in Avignon.” Since 2023, it has been held on Barthelasse Island, redefining the festival experience: a musical gathering in the heart of nature, combining celebration, creative cuisine, social commitment, and solar energy.

What makes the event unique is as much its cultural ambition as the strong identity of the venue that hosts it. The lineup bridges the gap between the current scene and new discoveries, bringing together emerging artists, established talents, and international headliners. Beyond the concerts and DJ sets, the event features a food village led by local chefs, as well as a dedicated children’s area called "KID-ILE". As a result, the festival is designed to be enjoyed with family or friends in a preserved natural setting.

The 2026 lineup: two nights, ten artists, one island

The 2026 edition of ID-ILE took place on June 5 and 6. Over the course of two evenings, the audience enjoyed an eclectic lineup featuring artists from the worlds of pop, hip-hop, electronic music, and rap.

  • Friday, June 5: The opening night featured Suzane, Polo & Pan, Thylacine, and Luiza as headliners, with Madame Benoît as the intermission act and LUJ as the opening act.

  • Saturday, June 6: the second night featured Gaël Faye, Cassius, and the trio Joachim Pastor / Joris Delacroix / Teho, united under the PACT project, accompanied by Pi Ja Ma, Maggy Smiss as the intermission act, and Sam Grass as the opening act.

The event was sold out, confirming ID-ILE’s growing status as one of the must-see events on the region’s summer calendar.

Sound, lighting, video, and stage: iDzia’s expertise in live event production

For the live event production, iDzia handled the design and installation of the entire stage technical setup: sound system, stage lighting, video projection, and stage, including, in particular, the intermission transitions featuring installations dedicated to the artists Madame Benoît and Maggy Smiss.

Working on a river island requires preserving a natural environment while ensuring a quick and reliable setup. Our team is well-versed in these considerations, allowing us to deploy systems that meet artistic demands, regardless of the setting.

This expertise is also supported by our ongoing collaboration with Agence Effervescence, the festival’s co-producer and a trusted partner. At iDzia, every festival is an opportunity to put our technical expertise at the service of the live experience, and the ID-ILE festival perfectly embodies the projects in which we are fully invested.
