iDzia at the Arles Amphitheater for DeliDrinks’ 20th Anniversary

To celebrate its 20th anniversary, the Arles-based company DeliDrinks organized a grand anniversary party at the Arles Amphitheater. For the event, we were responsible for the entire technical setup: sound, lighting, and video projection.

20 Years of Beverages and Snacks

Founded in 2006 by Tanguy Péchon, after several trips that inspired him to bring concepts from foreign coffee shops to France, DeliDrinks specializes in the distribution of beverages and snack products to the foodservice industry.

Based in Arles, the company now delivers throughout France and Europe. It has established itself as a leading supplier to the foodservice industry, thanks in particular to a product lineup tailored to new consumer trends.

An Evening Full of Highlights

The evening brought together DeliDrinks’ employees, partners, and associates for a sit-down dinner, complete with catering and a cocktail bar. The entertainment lineup included musicians and dancers from the Gitano Family, a drag queen show featuring Don Giovanna, and a DJ set that played continuously until the end of the event.

In addition, the celebration featured a speech by the founder, accompanied by a video chronicling the company’s founding, the key milestones in its development, and the employees and partners who have contributed to its success over the past 20 years.

The Iconic Setting of the Roman Amphitheater

Built at the end of the 1st century A.D., the Arles Amphitheater is 136 meters long and could accommodate approximately 25,000 spectators. Designated a historic monument and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this amphitheater remains the most visited site in Arles today. It regularly hosts performances, bullfights, and numerous cultural events.

Working in such a venue means dealing with unique architecture and acoustics, which require precise adaptation of the equipment...

A technical setup by iDzia

For this event, iDzia implemented three technical components:

• Sound: Installation of a system tailored to the open space and the constraints of the Arènes, to ensure all the evening’s highlights were covered.

• Lighting: Installation of spotlights all around the ruedo as well as within the dining areas, with architectural lighting highlighting the corridors leading to the Arènes.

• Video: Screening of the DeliDrinks 20th-anniversary film and installation of an LED screen.

This type of project at heritage sites is an integral part of iDzia’s core business. We are regularly called upon to work at the Arènes d’Arles, which has allowed us to develop genuine expertise in working with unique sites, large spaces, and the lighting challenges specific to unconventional venues.
