Once a quarry, today it stands as one of the world’s most celebrated cultural spaces — a stage for immersive exhibitions, artistic performances, and, on rare occasions, exceptional private events and weddings.

It is within this extraordinary setting that iDzia once again showcased its expertise, designing a tailor-made lighting concept to enhance and reveal the magic of the space. Our goal: to bring out the textures, shape the shadows, and create a poetic atmosphere worthy of this legendary site.

Within the vast stone galleries of the Carrières, every beam must be crafted with care and precision. The monumental scale demands a delicate and balanced approach, where brilliance never overshadows serenity.

Through detailed pre-production work and the use of battery-powered projectors — discreet, powerful, and perfectly suited to the venue’s architecture — iDzia manages to sculpt light in harmony with the stone. The mineral surfaces take on soft, warm reflections, while the preserved shadows add depth and intimacy.

A recent late-August wedding beautifully illustrates this expertise. The scenography, designed to be minimalist and elegant, relied on light as the central decorative element.
