The Pentecost Feria in Nîmes is a popular event that brings an entire region together to offer a unique experience to over a million visitors. Convinced that behind every major celebration lies true technical expertise, we are proud to have contributed to the 2026 edition by installing a bodega: La Champagneraie du Lisita.

The Feria and Its Bodegas: The Heart and Soul of Southern France’s Festival

With Hispanic origins and deeply rooted in the culture of southern France, ferias emerged from bullfighting traditions and trade fairs. They have established themselves as communal celebrations where music, cuisine, and conviviality come together in the streets, from morning until night, and often into the next day. Thus, the city of Nîmes is honoring its local traditions for the 2026 edition, from Thursday, May 21, to Monday, May 25, featuring bullfights at the Arènes de Nîmes, abrivados in the streets, bandas enlivening the Écusson district, a Sevillian village, a Gypsy village, and a craft market.

At the heart of this festive experience, the bodegas play a central role. These pop-up venues are, in fact, true gathering spots. People dance, sing, eat, and toast there, in a carefully curated setting that makes all the difference between a simple street bar and a true hub of life. The official list of 2026 bodegas included around twenty establishments, among which was La Champagneraie du Lisita, located just a stone’s throw from the Roman amphitheatre.

A successful wine bar relies on carefully controlled sound and lighting, as well as a structure capable of safely accommodating hundreds of guests:
